A musician shaped by many traditions
Oldet Ibo has been studying piano since the age of six, growing up in Albania where music was woven into daily life. His training took him through the European classical tradition including deep study in the French and Russian schools before he completed his Master’s degree in Piano Performance in the United States.
His Carnegie Hall debut marked a milestone, but it’s the quieter work that defines him most: understanding what each tradition truly offers, and knowing how to bring the right approach to the student in front of him.
across styles, traditions, Oldet doesn’t teach from a single method. He teaches from experience and decades of learning what actually helps people grow as musicians.
“Every student has their own musical voice my job is to help them find it.”

Experienced, humble, and genuinely passionate
Oldet has been playing piano since he was six years old, growing up in Albania where music was part of everyday life. He trained in the European classical tradition, deepened his understanding through the French and Russian schools, and completed his Master’s degree in Piano Performance in the United States — where he also made his Carnegie Hall debut.
What shaped him most wasn’t any single method, but years of learning across different traditions and understanding what each one truly offers. Today he brings all of that into a studio that feels welcoming, takes music seriously, and stays completely focused on the student in front of him.
No two students are the same — and no two lessons are either.
